First, We want you to make money. Our intention is to help you build exposure, your fan base and your draw.
We will book you in paying gigs. That's what we're about. We book all music genres. Once we receive your Book Me information, our staff will reveiw
your submission and get back to you within 7 - 10 business days. We expect each band we book to bring a specific amount of people to the show. We may
book a show for you requiring advance sales of tickets, or pre-sale as it's known. In such a case you will have a minimum amount of tickets to sell
before you start to get paid. For example, 40 presale and 50 free. Typically, you will receive free tickets which you keep all the money while some
venues will split the sale of extra tickets with you. You also may receive a split of door sales, some venues splitting as much as 75%. Some venues
are willing to give you 100% of the door based on your ability to draw a crowd. Other options include comprehensive pay which is an even split of the
money between all the bands playing that night, a percentage of drink sales and set guarantees agreed upon by the band and venue. Bottom line - We don't book pay-to-play gigs.
MPY Presents will negotiate with the venue promoters, owners and venue bookers to get the best deal possible. MPY has booked bands in name venues such as
The Key Club Hollywood, The Trip, Good Hurt, The Stardust Club, Tonic Lounge and more. We will book you into venues in the market areas you
choose and in venues we feel are right for you. We will provide you with all booking information to include venue date, time slot, pay, load-in time, sound check times and other venue
details as needed. You may choose venues in more than one market, however transportation to any venue MPY schedules for you is your responsibility.
If you decide to cancel a venue set for you, MPY requires you give at least a 10 day notice of your intent to cancel. Remember though, if you cancel
a venue, you may not be invited to perform there again. You may decline any venues when presented to you.
MPY Presents will promote your venue on the Calendar page, Facebook, Twitter and via email to people in your market area where you will be
performing. MPY has the ability to design posters, handbills or other printed promotional materials. Ask us about these services if you have the need for any promotional items.
You may be asked to give the venue a poster for display and handbills to promote your show. Typically, in these cases, venues like to have these
at least 2 weeks in advance of your show date. If you are Photoshop savy you'll be able to make these yourself then have them printed at an office supply
store such as Staples or Office Depot unless you have an "in" with a local printer. Again, ask us if you need help. That's what we're here for.
